Hello,
My name is Davit Tabidze, I’m a licensed professional in supply chain and logistics, and I’m
the proud founder of Sweet Home Movers Chicago Inc. Like many small business owners, my
path was shaped by grit, hustle, and unexpected turns.
The Biggest Move In My Life:
Originally from Europe, I moved to Chicago in 2019 and earned my law degree from Chicago-
Kent College of Law in 2020, followed by an MBA in business administration. When the
COVID-19 pandemic hit, everything changed. Like many, I had to adapt—and that’s when I
found myself stepping into the moving industry.
I started working as a mover for local companies in Chicago. Over time, I developed strong
relationships with customers and began to understand how emotional and stressful moving can
be. Soon, loyal customers began reaching out to me directly, asking for help with their moves.
With no truck of my own, I started by renting from U-Haul, Budget, and Penske, serving
customers across Chicago and the suburbs during the peak of the pandemic—often by
myself or with a small crew. Each move built more trust, more experience, and more belief that I
could do this on my own.

Today, Sweet Home Movers is a fully licensed and insured moving and logistics company
headquartered in Chicago. We operate locally and nationally, strictly following FMCSA
regulations, and proudly hold MC and DOT numbers. We’ve passed multiple inspections and
continue to uphold the highest service standards.
