From the Founder

Hello, my name is Davit Tabidze, and I’m the proud founder of Sweet Home Movers Chicago Inc. Like many small business owners, I’ve been shaped by grit, hustle, and a desire to build something better.

Originally from Europe, I moved to Chicago in 2019. My professional background is in supply chain and logistics, and I came here for school, earning a law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law, followed by an MBA.

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, everything changed. I had to adapt, and I found myself stepping into the moving industry, working as a mover for local companies.

I quickly developed strong relationships with customers and saw firsthand how emotional and stressful the moving process can be. Soon, loyal customers began reaching out to me directly, asking for help with their moves. With no truck of my own, I started by renting from U-Haul, Budget, and Penske, serving customers across Chicago and the suburbs during the peak of the pandemic.

Each move built more trust, more experience, and more belief that I could build a better moving company one founded on professionalism, transparency, and a deep respect for the customer.
